Laughing Hyenas is for the generation that grew up somewhere between VHS tapes and questionable (maybe even embarrassing) early internet decisions. We remember Saturday morning cartoons, busy signals, burned CDs, AIM away messages, and a time when getting online meant hearing the most annoying sound in the world first.
Somewhere along the way, life got a lot more...complicated. We got jobs, bills, families, responsibilities, bad knees—and approximately 47 things we're supposed to remember to do at all times.
And if we're being completely honest, sometimes we really miss when everything just felt a little more fun.
That's where Laughing Hyenas comes from. We make shirts inspired by the stuff we grew up with, the things we forgot we remembered, and the ridiculous little pieces of the past that can still make us laugh 20 or 30 years later.
Not because everything was necessarily better back then. But some of it was pretty dang great.
So yes, we're going to relive it a little. We're going to laugh about getting older, remember the good stuff, and probably make fun of ourselves along the way.
We laugh so we don't cry.
