“Hardened by Childhood” is for the generation that considered a blue plastic tray a legitimate dining experience. The portions were questionable, the compartments were more of a suggestion, and somehow getting one of these for dinner still felt like winning.

We didn’t need much. A few nuggets, something vaguely resembling mac and cheese, a little corn we probably ignored, and dessert included right there in the tray? Absolutely incredible. Never mind that the brownie somehow came out hard enough to survive another decade.

We survived. The brownie probably did too.

Washing Your Shirt is No Laughing Matter

Wash separately the first time. It gives the shirt a little extra protection while the colors settle in.
Tumble dry low. Your shirt will thank you.

Drying

Skip the high heat. Too much heat can be rough on fabric and graphics.
Tumble dry low. Nice and easy.
Remove promptly. It helps minimize wrinkles and keeps your shirt looking its best.

A Few Things to Avoid

No bleach or harsh detergents. They can fade the color and wear down the graphic.

Skip the fabric softener. It can affect the feel and finish of the fabric.
Don't iron directly over the graphic. If you need to iron the shirt, turn it inside out first.
