We had Barbie, friendship bracelets, My Little Ponies, and absolutely no idea what adulthood was going to do to us.
Back then, life was pink plastic accessories, impossibly good hair, and imagining a future where being a grown-up looked suspiciously like changing outfits and driving around in a convertible. Nobody mentioned the bills, the burnout, or the eventual desire to stop discussing your feelings altogether.
“Emotionally Unavailable” brings a little of that rose-colored childhood optimism into the reality of being grown now — slightly more tired, considerably more complicated, but still very committed to the accessories.
Soft, lightweight, and comfortable enough for anyone who grew up surrounded by pink, ponies, and the firm belief that adulthood was going to be way more fun than this.
Turns out we didn't lose the girl who loved all that stuff. She just has boundaries now.

Washing Your Shirt is No Laughing Matter
Okay, maybe that's a little dramatic. But we did make this shirt to be worn, loved, and lived in—and a little extra care will help keep it looking great for years to come.
Washing
- Wash in cold water. It’s gentler on the fabric and helps keep the colors looking their best.
- Turn it inside out before washing. This helps protect the graphic while it tumbles around with the rest of your laundry.
- Use a gentle detergent. Nothing fancy required—just something kind to your clothes.
- Wash separately the first time. It gives the shirt a little extra protection while the colors settle in.
- Tumble dry low. Your shirt will thank you.
Drying
- Skip the high heat. Too much heat can be rough on fabric and graphics.
- Tumble dry low. Nice and easy.
- Remove promptly. It helps minimize wrinkles and keeps your shirt looking its best.
A Few Things to Avoid
No bleach or harsh detergents. They can fade the color and wear down the graphic.
- Skip the fabric softener. It can affect the feel and finish of the fabric.
- Don't iron directly over the graphic. If you need to iron the shirt, turn it inside out first.
The Short Version
Cold water. Inside out. Gentle detergent. Low heat.
That's really all it takes.Take good care of your new favorite shirt, and hopefully it'll stick around long enough to become one of those shirts you refuse to get rid of—even when someone suggests it's "probably time."
